Volunteering at TRPL
At the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, we believe the best way to learn is to jump in and take part. Theodore Roosevelt didn’t just talk about the values of leadership, citizenship, and conservation—he lived them, and he believed everyone had a role to play. That’s where volunteers come in.
From welcoming participants to answering questions in the galleries, volunteers are an integral part of our team. Whether indoors in the exhibition spaces or outdoors in our LBC garden landscape, you’ll engage with interesting people while making a meaningful difference. You'll do this alongside a team that cares deeply, excels at what they do, and loves sharing their skills.
When you volunteer with us, you help shape the experience for every person who walks through the doors. You’re the friendly hello, the helpful answer, the person who makes someone feel glad they came. This is not about standing on the sidelines. It’s about stepping into the arena.
