Free Medora Trolley
Getting between downtown Medora and the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is easy — and free. The Medora Stageline Trolley runs all day between the Library, the hotels, the campground, and the shops and attractions in town, so you can see everything without moving your car.
Park Once, See Everything
The Library sits on a butte just above town, and the trolley connects the two. That means you only have to find a parking spot once.
- Park downtown. Leave your vehicle in Medora, explore the shops and restaurants, and ride the trolley up to the Library.
- Park at the Library. Use our free on-site parking, tour the museum and boardwalk, then ride the trolley into town for dinner or a show.
Either way, you drive in once and park once — no circling for a second spot, no moving the car between stops, and no worrying about where you left it.
Open-Air Views of the Badlands
The trolleys are open air, which makes the ride part of the experience rather than just a way to get from one place to another. The route carries you along the edge of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, with wide views of the buttes and the Little Missouri River valley — the same landscape that shaped Roosevelt himself.
