White House Communications Agency Alumni: Wives' Tales and War Stories

For decades, the military members of the White House Communications Agency have kept presidents connected anywhere in the world, often on a few hours' notice. Alumni gather in Medora this September for a reunion, and two panels open to the public.

The first brings together WHCA spouses on what that life asks of a family — including one couple who both served in the agency. After a short break, a second panel of members who supported presidents from the Johnson administration onward share stories from the field.

Questions are welcome throughout, with time set aside at the end of each session.
