To dedicate the Library on July 2nd and 3rd, the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library we are inviting you to experience a series of virtual Campfire and Prairie Talks live from the auditorium in the Library, centered around the themes below. These conversations will bring together invited speakers, partners, public leaders, authors, and friends of the Library to explore leadership, conservation, civic life, public service, history, business, and the enduring relevance of Theodore Roosevelt’s legacy today.

Beginning with Edith Roosevelt—who helped formalize the role through White House restoration, social leadership, diplomatic hosting, media management, and her role as advisor and anchor to President Theodore Roosevelt—the discussion will consider how First Ladies have influenced public life, civic culture, advocacy, and presidential legacy.
