Jacob Simpson

Jacob Simpson joins the TRPL team in January 2026 as the Manager of Participant Experiences. Jacob has worked in the museum field for over 15 years, serving 12 different institutions in four states. He has a passion for getting people excited about history and for providing the best possible experience for our participants. Jacob most recently served as the Outreach Coordinator at the Chateau de Mores State Historic Site in Medora.

Originally from North Carolina, Jacob and his wife relocated to North Dakota in May 2025 for her work as a Paleontologist. The couple lives in Bowman, ND with their border collie, Pepper. Jacob loves exploring and visiting museums and historic sites across the country. He is an avid collector of musical instruments and records, as well as a classic car enthusiast.
