Jonathan Kellam

Jonathan Kellam is the Senior Director of Development at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation, leading the organization’s comprehensive fundraising strategy. With over 15 years of experience leading philanthropic programs, Jonathan has driven significant revenue growth for some of the country’s most respected advocacy organizations through building both authentic relationships and sustainable systems.

Jonathan brings a deep commitment to Theodore Roosevelt's enduring ideals of conservation, active citizenship, and bold leadership — values that have guided his entire career. Previously, he served in senior fundraising roles at Friends of the Earth, Food & Water Watch, and Public Citizen. He also served as an infantry team leader in Iraq while serving in the Army National Guard.

Through hiking, camping, and scuba diving, Jonathan enjoys exploring the natural world that Roosevelt so famously championed. Indoors, Jonathan can be found with his nose in a history book, experimenting in the kitchen, or clumsily trying to master the piano. He lives in Washington, DC with his husband, Chase, and their German Shepherd, Rhae.
