Matt Briney

Matt Briney joined the TRPLF team in February 2024 as the Chief Communications Officer. Matt has 22 years of experience in digital communications, marketing, and interactive design. Before joining TRPLF, Matt served as Vice President of Media & Communications at George Washington’s Mount Vernon and the George Washington Presidential Library.  During his tenure at Mount Vernon, he oversaw the digital expansion of storytelling through website growth, film productions, podcasts, and immersive interactives.  He has received seven Telly awards for his short films and a coveted Thea Award for designing the interactive theater and classroom game Be Washington.  

Before joining Mount Vernon, Matt oversaw a digital production division at Edelman Public Relations and was co-owner of his digital direct response marketing agency.  Matt resides in Dallas, TX.  He is an avid hiker, skier, and cyclist.
