Rachel Moats  

Rachel Moats joined the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library team as the Registrar/Collections Specialist in March 2026. She has spent the last decade in various roles with private collections, auction houses, and as a government contractor in archive digitization. Rachel has worked with a large range of objects from traditional fine art and large scale sculpture to firearms and taxidermy. She is excited to bring her unique and varied skill set to the TRPL.

Originally hailing from Pennsylvania, she has spent the last several years in Manchester, New Hampshire and is excited to join the permanent team in Medora. She holds a Masters of Museum Studies and a Masters of Information with a concentration in Archives and Records Management, both from the University of Toronto. In her free time she enjoys learning new crafts/DIY (she has recently started learning embroidery), cooking, and baking.
