Give Through Your Donor Advised Fund

A grant from your donor advised fund (DAF) is one of the simplest, most tax-efficient ways to invest in the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library - and in the legacy of conservation, leadership, and citizenship that TR built and the Library carries forward.

Why a DAF Gift to TRPLF?

Recommending a grant from your DAF puts your charitable assets directly to work for a mission you believe in, without additional paperwork or tax complexity.

  • Streamlined giving. Your DAF sponsor handles the administration; you focus on impact.
  • Tax-efficient. Your initial contribution to the DAF was already deductible - your grant to TRPLF carries no additional tax burden.
  • A family tradition. Many DAF donors involve their children and grandchildren in grant recommendations, building philanthropy across generations.

How It Works

  1. Recommend the grant. Through your DAF sponsor's website or your advisor, recommend a grant to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation.
  2. Your DAF sponsor processes the grant. Funds are sent directly to TRPLF.
  3. We acknowledge your gift. TRPLF sends a written acknowledgement, recognizing your generosity.
