Then and Now: What Roosevelt's Orders Became

Some of Roosevelt's orders still shape the map. Many national forests, wildlife refuges and national parks trace back to a few paragraphs he signed between 1901 and 1909. Here is each one the Library's research connects to an order, with how the two are linked: the order created it, its land is part of it today, or it was later folded into something larger. Places marked “no longer exists” were merged, renamed or abolished.
