Dick Boyce
Mr. Boyce today manages a family office that invests in and advises early stage companies disrupting their industries in restaurants, entertainment access,and tech-enabled consumer. In 2024 he nationally released a movie co-produced with Sylvester Stallone called Lost on a Mountain in Maine. He has been on the Cabinet of the Teddy Roosevelt Museum since 2020. He retired in 2013 from the senior Portfolio Operations role at TPG Capital, one of the largest global investment partnerships, owning 107 companies with over $140 Billion in revenue at that time. In 1997 he founded the TPG Operating Group, which drove performance improvement across all the TPG companies while AUM grew from $1B to $75B. In his first role, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of J.Crew, and as a Board member from 1997-2006. He also served subsequently as the Chairman of both Burger King Corporation and Del Monte Foods, and today thru his family office, the BOD’s of Montana Knife, Allbirds, and L.A.B. Golf. He advised the CEO of HP on their multiyear restructuring (2014-15) and he has advised a variety of other earlier stage funds, including PE – (Altamont Capital) and Growth Equity - (Morgan Stanley Venture, Solamere Capital, Peterson Partners) Prior to joining TPG, Mr. Boyce was a senior officer at PepsiCo. Inc. responsible for global strategy and running US bottling operations. He was also previously a partner at Bain & Company. He received a BSE from Princeton University and received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He served on the Mitt Romney 2012 National Board and has mentored retiring military officers in transition. Mr. Boyce has been married to Sandy for 38 years and they have two sons off the payroll.
