Gov. Kelly Armstrong and Karl Rove in Conversation | Live from Bismarck
How does national political strategy translate into the practical work of governing a state?
North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong and Karl Rove sit down for a wide-ranging public conversation moderated by Robbie Lauf of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Drawing on Rove's experience shaping presidential campaigns and policy and Armstrong's leadership of North Dakota, they explore political strategy, governance, leadership and the work of turning ideas into action. The questions would have been familiar to Theodore Roosevelt: how leaders build coalitions, navigate change, make consequential decisions and turn priorities into results.
