In the Room | David Hume Kennerly at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library

You know these pictures. Now meet the photographer who took them.

For sixty years, David Hume Kennerly has stood where history was made: on the front lines in Vietnam, where his photographs earned the 1972 Pulitzer Prize; inside the White House as President Ford's personal photographer; and at summits, campaigns and turning points ever since.

"In the Room: Sixty Years on the Front Lines of History" is on view at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, for a limited time, through January 10, 2027. Included with general admission and free for Members.
